Job Description

We are seeking a Chief Development Officer to lead the development of our company in Spain. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing activities in scale and profitability, recruiting and managing a team, and requesting assistance from our support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a portfolio of prospects/customers based on our existing offers in Europe.
  • Define new Energy Management offers adapted to the Spanish market.
  • Monitor regulatory developments relating to access to the demand-side flexibility market by independent aggregators.
  • Favor Energy Pool by lobbying the regulator CNMC and the transmission operator REE.
  • Explore local strategic partnerships to accelerate development.

Requirements

  • Engineering or business school degree with a strong appetite for technical/complex and commercial subjects.
  • Significant financial culture.
  • At least 10 years of experience in a management role within a fast-growing SME/ETI.
  • Bilingual in Spanish, professional level of English and French (C1).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the energy sector and the decarbonization of processes.
  • Knowledge of major energy players and stakeholders.
