Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems, analyzing specifications, and coordinating with other departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software (Solid Works)
  • Analyze specifications and requirements
  • Perform small structural calculations and simulations
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution
  • Prepare technical specifications for supplier contracting
  • Visit customer and supplier facilities
  • Monitor project progress and report on results

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and teamwork skills
  • Good knowledge of CAD software (CATIA/Solid Works)
  • Experience in mechanical design
  • Basic knowledge in facilities, fluids, and electricity
  • English (minimum level B2)
  • Spanish required (minimum level B2)

Desired Skills:

  • Knowledge of mechanical simulations (ANSYS, etc.)
  • PDMP Solidworks knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Workshop experience
  • German language
  • Basic knowledge in security EU regulations
  • Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Good knowledge in MS Office
