About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our cutting-edge mobility technology.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and Development: Utilize CAD software (Solid Works) to design and develop mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  2. Analysis and Simulation: Conduct analysis of specifications and perform small structural calculations or simulations to optimize system performance.
  3. Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and coordination with suppliers.
  4. Technical Specifications: Prepare technical specifications for supplier contracting, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  5. Customer and Supplier Interaction: Visit customer and supplier facilities to ensure effective communication and project monitoring.
  6. Reporting and Project Monitoring: Provide regular reporting and project monitoring to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.

Requirements:

Mandatory:

Positive attitude, teamwork, proactive problem-solving, and capacity for innovation.

Good knowledge of CAD software (CATIA/Solid Works).

Experience in mechanical design and development.

Basic knowledge in facilities, fluids, and electricity.

English (minimum level B2) and Spanish (minimum level B2) language proficiency.

Desired:

Knowledge of mechanical simulations (ANSYS, etc.).

PDMP Solidworks knowledge.

SAP knowledge.

Workshop experience.

German language proficiency.

Basic knowledge in EU security regulations.

Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Good knowledge in MS Office.
