About the Role

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Alstom, you will play a crucial role in spearheading CAD activities, ensuring top-notch quality, cost, and delivery commitments. You will be responsible for crafting 3D designs, ensuring quality annotations, and handling 2D deliverables with precision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead CAD activities in one Electrical or Mechanical Domain
  • Craft 3D designs, ensure quality annotations, and handle 2D deliverables with precision
  • Master the art of Digital Mock-Up
  • Play a pivotal role in Domain Design Reviews
  • Keep an eye on CADs' and subcontractor's Design Quality
  • Analyze, plan, and validate domain deliverables
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferably related to Railway products
  • Working knowledge of CATIA
  • Strong communication skills, both in interacting with teams and customers
  • Proven ability in juggling tasks and managing time
  • A structured, organized, and hands-on approach
  • Proficiency in English, especially in technical settings
