**Job Summary**

AVL Software and Functions GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Valladolid, Spain. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing mechanical equipment and coordinating their manufacture with suppliers in the sector within the framework of innovative turnkey projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Design systems through mechanical CAD (Solid Works)
  • Analyze specifications
  • Perform small structural calculations or simulations
  • Coordinate with other departments
  • Prepare technical specifications for the contracting of suppliers following quality standards
  • Visit customer and supplier facilities
  • Project monitoring
  • Reporting

**Requirements:**

  • Positive attitude, teamwork, proactive in the search for solutions, and capacity for innovation
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Good knowledge of CAD Software (CATIA/Solid Works)
  • Experience in mechanical design
  • Basic knowledge in facilities, fluids, electricity
  • Spanish required (minimum level B2)
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Simulations (ANSYS; etc)
  • PDM Solidworks knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Basic knowledge in security EU regulations
  • Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Good knowledge in MS Office
