About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software (Solid Works)
  • Analyze specifications and perform small structural calculations or simulations
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare technical specifications for supplier contracting, adhering to quality standards
  • Visit customer and supplier facilities to monitor project progress
  • Report on project status and performance
Requirements
  • Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
  • Proactive problem-solving and innovation capabilities
  • Good knowledge of CAD software (CATIA/Solid Works) and mechanical design principles
  • Basic knowledge of facilities, fluids, and electricity
  • English language proficiency (minimum level B2)
  • Spanish language proficiency (minimum level B2)
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of mechanical simulations (ANSYS, etc.)
  • PDM Solidworks knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • Workshop experience
  • German language proficiency
  • Basic knowledge of security and EU regulations
