About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for our cutting-edge mobility technology.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems using CAD software (Solid Works)
  • Analyze specifications and perform small structural calculations or simulations
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution
  • Prepare technical specifications for supplier contracting, adhering to quality standards
  • Visit customer and supplier facilities to ensure quality and compliance
  • Monitor projects and report on progress
Requirements
  • Positive attitude, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge of CAD software (CATIA/Solid Works) and experience in mechanical design
  • Basic knowledge in facilities, fluids, and electricity
  • English (minimum level B2) and Spanish (minimum level B2) language proficiency
  • Desirable skills include knowledge of mechanical simulations (ANSYS, etc.), PDMP Solidworks, SAP, and workshop experience
