About the Role

This is a senior-level position within the Healthcare Compliance team at Mygwork, a leading platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and driving the Healthcare Compliance program to ensure that business practices and activities are in compliance with related internal guidelines, local laws and regulations, and anti-corruption laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with executive leadership to ensure that the Healthcare Compliance program effectively prevents and/or detects violations of law, regulations, policies, or the Code of Conduct.
  • Establish and chair the Compliance Committee, responsible for designing and implementing an effective compliance program and key decision-making.
  • Develop and implement a country strategy and plan aligning with the business and J&J Office of Compliance, and coordinate deployment.
  • Actively engage in the enterprise-wide Talent Management process for Healthcare Compliance.
  • Assure adequate representation in business governance structures and establish discussion platforms to get general business buy-in and impact analysis.
  • Act as a consultant and review and approve Health Care Professional (HCP)/Government Official (GO) oriented activities.
  • Stimulate and contribute to innovative approaches towards HCPs and GOs consistent with the Healthcare Compliance/HCBI guidelines and framework.
  • Provide and coordinate appropriate guidance, education, training, and regular communications on Healthcare Compliance to all covered employees.
  • Conduct self-assessment and risk assessment processes to detect process gaps and inconsistencies.
  • Develop a testing and monitoring plan to demonstrate that the Healthcare Compliance program is effective.
  • Manage day-to-day allegations and investigations, and participate in and lead investigations of non-compliance.
Requirements
  • BA/BS, advanced degree or equivalent preferred, and a minimum of eight years of business experience.
  • Prior experience in Healthcare Compliance is necessary.
  • Understands and masters the J&J Credo-based culture.
  • Deals well with ambiguity and demonstrates strong organizational, process, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business, and effective negotiating skills are essential.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret legal documents would be an advantage.
