Healthcare Compliance Director

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a seasoned Healthcare Compliance Director to lead our Health Care Compliance (HCC) program in Spain. As a key member of our MedTech team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our business practices and activities are in compliance with related internal guidelines, local laws, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an effective compliance program to prevent and detect violations of law, regulations, policies, or the Code of Conduct.
- Partner with executive leadership to establish and chair the Spain MedTech / Vision Compliance Committee.
- Translate global and regional strategies into local-level initiatives, considering relevant external regulatory trends and environment.
- Develop and coordinate the deployment of Country strategy & plan aligning with the businesses and J&J Office of Compliance.
- Engage in the enterprise-wide Talent Management process for HCC and lead the covered team of Compliance Manager/s / Specialist/s or other functions.
- Assure adequate representation in business governance structures and establish discussion platforms to get general business buy-in and impact analysis.
- Act as a consultant and provide guidance, education, training, and regular communications on HCC to all covered employees.
- Conduct self-assessment and risk assessment processes to detect process gaps & inconsistencies.
- Develop a testing & monitoring plan to demonstrate that the HCC program is effective.
- BA/BS, advanced degree or equivalent preferred and a minimum of eight appropriate years of business experience.
- Prior experience in Health Care Compliance is necessary.
- Understands and masters the J&J Credo-based culture.
- Deals well with ambiguity and demonstrates strong organizational, process, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well between functions and across all levels of the business.
