Senior Health and Safety Specialist

Edwards Lifesciences is a global leader in patient-focused innovations for structural heart disease and critical care monitoring. As a Senior Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving results in health and safety regulatory compliance, standards, injury prevention, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate health and safety activities in the EMEACLA Region, including offices, field, and other activities, to drive results in health and safety regulatory compliance, standards, injury prevention, and risk management.
- Drive health and safety regulatory compliance systems to control compliance of applicable legislations.
- Coordinate health and safety hazards identification of all activities within the region, support risk assessment, and relevant control measure identification and support their execution.
- Support country implementation of applicable Edwards Lifesciences health and safety standards and regional health and safety programs.
- Drive incident reporting, investigation, improvement, and health and safety performance.
- Provide guidance in health and safety management based on ISO 45001 Standard and support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to regional and global standard development and improvement.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Scientific, or Health and Safety related field.
- 4+ years of EHS related experience required.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Substantial understanding and knowledge of ISO and other relevant regulations.
- NEBOSH or other equivalent certifications is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills ability to influence change.
