Job Summary
Edwards Lifesciences is seeking a highly skilled Senior Health and Safety Specialist to join our team in the EMEACLA Region. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving health and safety regulatory compliance, standards, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate health and safety activities across the region, ensuring compliance with applicable legislations and standards, including ISO 45001.
- Drive the implementation of health and safety regulatory compliance systems to control compliance of applicable legislations.
- Identify and assess health and safety hazards, and implement control measures to mitigate risks.
- Support the development and implementation of regional and global health and safety standards and programs.
- Drive incident reporting, investigation, and improvement, and monitor health and safety performance.
- Provide guidance on health and safety management based on ISO 45001 standards and support continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Science, or Health and Safety.
- 4+ years of experience in EHS-related roles.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Substantial understanding and knowledge of ISO and other relevant regulations.
- Nebosh or other equivalent certifications are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence change.
