Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate Health and Safety Activities: Drive results in health and safety regulatory compliance, standards, injury prevention, and risk management across the EMEACLA Region.
- Develop and Implement Compliance Systems: Drive health and safety regulatory compliance systems to control compliance of applicable legislations.
- Identify and Mitigate Hazards: Coordinate health and safety hazards identification of all activities within the region, support risk assessment, and relevant control measure identification and execution.
- Implement Regional and Global Standards: Support country implementation of applicable Edwards Lifesciences health and safety standards and regional health and safety programs.
- Drive Incident Reporting and Improvement: Drive incident reporting, investigation, improvement, and health and safety performance.
- Provide Guidance and Support: Provide guidance in health and safety management based on ISO 45001 Standard and support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to Standard Development: Contribute to regional and global standard development and improvement.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree (e.g. Engineering, Scientific, or Health and Safety related) & 4+ years of EHS related experience required.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in English is a must.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Substantial understanding and knowledge of ISO and other relevant regulations.
- Certifications: NEBOSH or other equivalent certifications is a plus.
- Key Skills: Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and leadership skills & ability to influence change.
