We are seeking a highly skilled People & Culture Coordinator to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on the development of our hotel's culture and talent acquisition strategy.
Job OverviewThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, recruitment, and training, are carried out in accordance with Ennismore's global standards.
This role will play a key part in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment, where employees feel valued, empowered, and supported to achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources, experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Foster a positive and structured work environment that encourages collaboration and open communication among team members.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent and build a pipeline of future leaders.
- Collaborate with managers to provide training and development opportunities that enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, including performance evaluations, training plans, and benefits information.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws, health and safety regulations, and data protection legislation.
- University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in human resources, preferably in a hospitality or service industry setting.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful recruitment and retention strategies.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and Spanish (desired but not required).
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of €40,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses.
