Your Day at NTT DATAThe Network Managed Services Engineer (L1) is an entry-level engineering role that involves providing proactive managed services to clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure and systems remain operational. This role focuses on first-line support for standard and low-complexity incidents and service requests, with the primary objective of ensuring zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor client infrastructure and solutions to identify potential issues.
- Investigate first-line incidents, identify root causes, and implement resolutions.
- Provide telephonic or chat support to clients, executing approved maintenance activities and following handover procedures for shift changes.
- Report and escalate incidents as necessary, ensuring efficient and comprehensive resolutions.
- Proactively identify opportunities for work optimization, including automation and process improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and social groups.
- Strong planning and project management skills, with adaptability to changing circumstances.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in pressurized environments.
- Active listening skills and ability to apply them in a fast-paced environment.
