Executive Culinary Leader

Bally Sally is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and service in our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Executive Chef in planning and executing menu development, ensuring consistency and quality across all dishes.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
- Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and control kitchen costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to ensure profitability.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality ingredients.
- Participate in menu planning and development, ensuring that dishes are creative, appealing, and meet customer expectations.
- Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Proven track record of success in kitchen management, including inventory control, labor management, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
