Procurement Specialist Role

Catenon is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our global procurement team, you will be responsible for supporting initiatives related to new product development and insourcing.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with the global team based in the US to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.
  2. Supporting the procurement manager in contacting raw materials vendors and defining business allocation strategies.
  3. Developing and implementing plans to address issues and improve supply chain performance.
  4. Contributing to the delivery of savings and working capital improvements in line with company targets.
  5. Assessing and tracking market trends for assigned commodities, particularly in Spain and Italy.
  6. Supporting the development and negotiation of contracts with suppliers.
  7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cost and service improvements.
  8. Supporting stakeholders on sustainability and circular economy initiatives.

Requirements for the role include:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  2. Proficiency in Spanish and English, with Italian being an asset.
  3. Experience in raw materials procurement in FMCG or cosmetic companies is a plus.
  4. At least 2 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management.
