Job Title: Software Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Manager to lead our Applied ML Engineering team in the Software Localization department. As a manager, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and qualifying ML localization features, processes, and tooling across various Apple products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the exploration and application of Large Language Models (LLMs) for translation tasks and Apple product features
  • Translate the latest research into high-quality systems and models that can be practically applied to improve machine translation or Apple product features
  • Collaborate with translation, localization quality, project management, and engineering teams to develop and implement machine learning solutions
  • Actively engage in all aspects of model development, from ideation, training, experimentation to deployment

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills
  • Proven track record of growing and developing people
  • Extensive cross-functional project leadership and delivery experience
  • Experience with Machine Learning (ML), with a particular emphasis on Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)
