Principal Software Engineering Manager

As a Principal Software Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for building and managing a diverse team of software engineers, mentoring them in their technical and professional development, and driving projects to successfully execute on our roadmap and achieve team's strategic objectives.

About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced engineering manager who shares our passion for building innovative, engaging, and differentiated user experiences. The ideal candidate will have relevant years of experience managing a team of software engineers, hands-on experience writing code in a software engineer or related role, and experience with React and/or TypeScript, and good knowledge of CSS.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage a diverse team of software engineers
  • Mentor software developers in their technical and professional development
  • Drive projects while collaborating with PM/Design counterparts and other engineering teams in order to successfully execute on our roadmap and achieve team's strategic objectives
  • Design and implement large scale engineering systems, applications, and features that enable us to deliver great user experiences for customers on desktop and mobile
  • Champion data-driven decisions through insights gained from customer feedback, feature usage and competitive analyses
  • Establish a positive, inclusive and fun team environment where every employee can do their best
