Job Overview

Applus IDIADA is seeking a highly skilled Homologation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Homologation department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our ADAS systems with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Perform activities within the scope of projects related to the homologation of ADAS systems, Automated Vehicle, and related vehicle regulations.
  • Manage projects related to Cybersecurity and Software update certification.
Key Tasks
  • Analysis of manufacturer's documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prototype assessment, preparation, instrumentation, and testing, both at IDIADA HQ and in other locations worldwide.
  • Analysis of test results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Preparation of homologation reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Management of the whole approval process, including multidisciplinary teams.
  • Meetings with manufacturers and approval authorities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participation in R+D projects to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or Aeronautical engineering (MSc valued). Other engineering degrees or master's acceptable depending on competences and experience.
  • Experience: Experience in automotive engineering valuable. Knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation, or standards. Knowledge or experience in measuring systems, procedures, and equipment. Knowledge in new automotive technologies related to General Safety Regulation 2: intelligent vehicle safety and dynamic systems.
  • Languages: High level of English (other languages valued, French, Italian, German, etc.).
