We are seeking an experienced Homologation Engineer to join our team at Applus IDIADA. As a key member of our Homologation department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our ADAS systems and vehicles with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage projects related to the homologation of ADAS systems, Automated Vehicles, and related vehicle regulations.
- Cybersecurity and Software Update Certification: Oversee the certification process for cybersecurity and software updates.
- Analysis and Testing: Conduct analysis of manufacturer's documentation, assess prototypes, prepare and test instrumentation, and analyze test results.
- Homologation Reports: Prepare and submit homologation reports to regulatory authorities.
- Team Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams to manage the approval process and meet with manufacturers and approval authorities.
- R+D Projects: Participate in research and development projects related to ADAS and vehicle regulations.
- Education: Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or Aeronautical Engineering (MSc valued).
- Experience: Experience in automotive engineering is valuable, as well as knowledge or experience in quality control, regulation, or standards.
- Languages: High level of English (other languages valued, French, Italian, German, etc.).
