Job Overview

Applus IDIADA is seeking a dedicated Engineer to enhance our Regulatory Compliance team.

Key Responsibilities :

Execute tasks related to the certification of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), automated vehicles, and associated vehicle regulations. Oversee projects focused on Cybersecurity and Software update validation.

Primary Duties :

Review and analyze documentation provided by manufacturers. Conduct prototype evaluations, including preparation, instrumentation, and testing at various locations. Assess and interpret test outcomes. Compile homologation documentation. Coordinate the entire approval process, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Engage in discussions with manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Contribute to Research and Development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Educational Background :
A degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Telecommunications, Electronics, IT, or Aeronautical Engineering is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Other engineering qualifications may be considered based on skills and experience.

Professional Experience :
Previous experience in automotive engineering is advantageous.
Familiarity with quality assurance, regulations, or standards is beneficial.
Knowledge of measurement systems, methodologies, and equipment is essential.
Understanding of emerging automotive technologies related to General Safety Regulation 2, including intelligent vehicle safety and dynamic systems.

Language Proficiency :
Proficient in English is mandatory (additional languages such as French, Italian, or German are a plus).
