About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Engineer to join our team at The Applus+ Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading testing projects focused on the study of structural durability and abuse performance of vehicles.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in vehicle-level testing, particularly in durability and reliability. You will be responsible for creating test procedures, plans, and reports, as well as specifying instrumentation and equipment for test vehicles.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and execute testing projects to ensure the structural durability and abuse performance of vehicles
  • Create and implement automated data analysis scripts to analyze test data
  • Analyze and process test data to ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with vehicle technicians, instrumentation, and design teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Write detailed test reports to document results and communicate issues found

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 1+ years of experience in vehicle-level testing, particularly in durability and reliability
  • Experience with test equipment handling and data acquisition systems
  • Familiarity with data acquisition software and data collection analysis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead meetings with customers to communicate test results and data in technical depth
