We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team at Geiger Food Ingredients Recruitment. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our business with existing customers and identifying new opportunities in the food market in Spain.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the food industry and be able to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers. You will also be responsible for conducting market analyses to understand supplier and customer needs, and identifying new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand our business with existing customers and identify new opportunities in the food market in Spain.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers, including establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct market analyses to understand supplier and customer needs, and identify new opportunities.
- Act as a product manager for various product ranges and/or suppliers, taking responsibility for the relationship and purchases with them.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the food industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Food Technology/Food Chemistry.
- Ability to solve technological problems and passion for food product development.
- Exceptionally good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- High willingness to travel.
- Very organized, reliable, positive thinking.
- Very good knowledge of Spanish and English (fluent in spoken and written).
- Valid driving license.
