About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at TravelPerk. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and revenue for our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Industry Research and Competitive Selling: Conduct thorough research on the travel technology landscape to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • SaaS Sales Experience: Work closely with our Sales Executives to generate interest and qualify leads for our SMB and Enterprise segments.
  • Outbound Activity and Outreach: Develop and execute outbound sales strategies to identify and qualify potential customers.
  • Lead Evaluation and Scheduling: Evaluate leads and schedule product demonstrations between our Sales Executives and potential clients.
  • Value Proposition and Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our target prospects' needs and articulate the value that TravelPerk provides.
  • Partner Landscape and Software Solutions: Learn about our partner landscape and advise on end-to-end software solutions along the value chain.
  • Corporate Selling Strategies: Run meetings and high-level conversations with C-level executives, office managers, CFOs, or travel managers to explain the TravelPerk Value Proposition.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple teams to understand the moving parts of a successful startup company.
  • Salesforce Management: Use Salesforce to generate and manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Language Skills: Native level of spoken and written Spanish is a must; being a highly proficient English speaker is also a must.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both spoken and written.
  • Credibility and Sales Cycle: Ability to build great credibility over the phone with prospects and understand B2B solution selling with a short sales cycle.
  • Goal-Oriented and Ambitious: A goal-oriented person with strong character and perseverance, hungry and ambitious yet ethical and sound.
  • Team Player and Customer-Centric: Able to work as an individual contributor but bearing in mind you are part of a team, with a customer-centric mindset and proactive thinking.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous Business Development or Sales Experience: Previous experience in business development or sales is a plus.
  • Salesforce Knowledge: Knowledge of Salesforce or similar is also a plus.
