About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tendering Engineer Intern to join our team at Schneider Electric. As a key member of our tendering team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the preparation and submission of bids for modular data center solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the tendering team in preparing bids for simple to medium technical complexity, including design, quoting, and project set-up.
  • Analyze simple RFQs (Request For Quotation) and prepare costing as per standard processes and tools.
  • Perform simple risk analysis and prepare bid documentation.
  • Support the technical team in designing modular data center solutions, including electrical, cooling, fire, and monitoring systems.
  • Analyze customer requirements to define the data center system and configure and select electrical and cooling equipment from Schneider Electric's portfolio.
  • Define solution Bill of Materials and prepare electrical diagrams and 2D/3D designs.
  • Perform reliable and efficient communication with main stakeholders, including factory teams, tender managers, solution architects, SMEs, sales, supply chain, and procurement.
  • Support in planning the project in conjunction with the supply chain (MS Project) and propose innovative ideas to increase efficiency.
Requirements
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline, Electrical or Energy Engineering preferable.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  • Ability to work effectively in a group setting, team-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Influence and convince skills.
  • Foster cooperation and people motivation in a multi-cultural environment and different time zones.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer tools at user level: MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, AutoCAD 2D, 3D software.
  • Some knowledge of Autodesk REVIT, Autodesk Construction Cloud could be valuable.
