Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey with one of the world's leading insurers? We're seeking a talented Data Engineer Intern to join our team and help shape the future of data engineering.

Your Role

As a Data Engineer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Design and develop a cutting-edge backend and frontend website for our Data Engineering Community of Practice.
  • Collaborate with our team to define best practices and reusable tools and frameworks, boosting productivity and efficiency.
  • Develop Azure DevOps generic CI/CD pipelines to streamline project development across the team.
  • Gain expertise in data engineering methodologies, including Git, functional programming, deployment processes, and security topics.
  • Explore data engineering cloud-based projects and services on Azure and AWS.

Your Skills and Experience

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with:

  • Active student status with a Spanish University/School.
  • A degree or master's degree in a relevant field, such as science, statistics, computing, or technical subjects.
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including Python or similar.
  • A strong interest in developing a career in the tech field.
  • A minimum of 6 months' part-time or internship experience.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues and managers from abroad.
