Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Data Engineer Intern to join our team. As a Data Engineer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that involve developing backend and frontend websites for the Data Engineering Community of Practice of Zurich.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Azure DevOps generic CI/CD pipelines to be reused in different projects of the team.
  • Help to define best practices and reusable tools and frameworks to increase the productivity of day-to-day project development.
  • Develop cloud-based projects and services using Azure and AWS.
  • Learn about data engineering methodologies and best practices, including Git, functional programming, deployment process, and security topics.

Requirements

  • Active student status with Spanish University/School is mandatory.
  • Studying a degree/master's degree related to science, statistics, computing, or technical subjects.
  • Knowledge of programming language, Python or similar.
  • University student interested in developing a career in the tech field.
  • Looking for at least 6 months part-time/internship program.
  • An enthusiastic, capable, curious person craving to learn.
  • A good team player with responsible and can-do attitude.
  • Able to use English for communication with colleagues and managers from abroad on a daily basis.
