About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Architect and Design Sales Manager to join our team at Acento. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to penetrate the architectural and design commercial segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage sales plans to increase product awareness, acceptance, and sales of architectural and decorative surfaces to architects, designers, and contractors.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through personal sales efforts and professional relationships with architects, designers, and building owners.
  • Manage and maintain accurate relationship, product placement, and project details with updated developments within our project management database.
  • Act as a facilitator and provide recommendations to senior management with key sales information as it relates to markets and regions.
  • Commit to continual learning and knowledge of architectural and decorative surfaces, their proper application, and specification requirements.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in building materials/construction/commercial projects sales.
  • 2+ years of proven capacity to interact with multiple levels within the commercial industry.
  • 1+ year of business development experience.
  • Knowledge of stone fabrication or distribution experience.
  • High School/GED degree.
