About the Role

Zimmer Biomet is a global medical technology leader, and we're seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you'll play a critical role in supporting our business operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other related documents.
  • Coordinate project intake and tracking, maintaining accurate project files and filing systems.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including uploading agreements and related documents into our contract management system.
  • Assist in-house legal counsel with business development projects, including mergers and acquisitions, distribution agreements, and co-partnership agreements.
  • Review and analyze documents submitted to the legal department, cross-checking and validating information.
  • Organize and maintain accurate filing and archiving for all projects.
  • Accurately maintain project status spreadsheets and contracts databases.
Requirements
  • Paralegal certification and/or a bachelor's degree in law or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of paralegal experience or similar experience supporting legal functions.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences Industry, preferably in medical devices, or in an international law firm.
  • Extensive knowledge of legal principles and practices, including legal research techniques and international contracting principles.
  • Fluent Spanish and English, with French or German a plus.
