About the Role

Zimmer Biomet is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal Specialist to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. As a key member of our Legal Department, you will play a critical role in supporting our business operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate project intake and tracking, maintaining accurate project files and filing systems.
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including uploading agreements and related documents into our contract management system.
  • Assist in-house legal counsel with business development projects, including mergers and acquisitions, distribution agreements, and co-partnership agreements.
  • Review and analyze documents, cross-checking and validating information.
  • Organize and maintain accurate filing and archiving for all projects.
  • Support the development and implementation of processes and systems to increase the efficiency of the Legal Department.
Requirements
  • Paralegal certification and/or a bachelor's degree in law or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of paralegal experience or similar experience supporting Legal functions.
  • Experience in the Life Sciences Industry, preferably in medical devices, or in an international law firm.
  • Extensive knowledge of legal principles and practices, including legal research techniques and international contracting principles.
  • Fluent Spanish and English, with French or German a plus.
