About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to join our Application Management team at cbs Corporate Business Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and guidance to our clients in the areas of SAP GTS services, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and resolve 2nd and 3rd level support tickets for SAP GTS services
  • Analyze technical application problems and identify sources of errors and their solutions
  • Apply project-related or demand-based adjustments to SAP GTS standards
  • Work closely with customers to create tailored implementation specifications
  • Implement complex requirements via SAP GTS customizing
  • Conduct presentations and workshops for customers and stakeholders
Requirements
  • University degree in business administration, business informatics, logistics, or a related field
  • SAP application expert with industry experience or relevant professional experience as an SAP logistics IT-module lead
  • Initial experience in foreign trade and SAP GTS is an advantage
  • Experience in processing support requests (incidents, changes, and service requests)
  • Desirable: experience with Fiori applications relevant to the GTS area and knowledge of SAP interface technology (e.g., SAP ALE/IDocs, EDI, etc.)
  • Heavily service-oriented way of working
  • Independent, proactive, and team-oriented approach
  • Very good knowledge of English or German
  • Willingness to travel for customer visits, company events, and training
