At Canonical, we're seeking a talented Design Manager to lead our Brand & Marketing Design team. As a key member of our design leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving the visual and UX design strategy for our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of designers to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Marketing and Product teams, to define and validate design outcomes.
  • Coach designers to improve their skills and contribute to the growth of the design team.
  • Work with the design leadership team to mature our collective design practice.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in managing design teams and delivering high-quality design solutions.
  • Exceptional design skills, with a focus on visual and UX design.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach and mentor designers.
  • Experience working with design systems and guidelines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
