Education and Training Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our Education and Training Team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC). The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating training and education activities, conducting educational research, and developing opportunities for collaboration with other leading High-Performance Computing (HPC) and Supercomputing centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the department and manage communication with students, participants, lecturers, and administration.
- Prepare and support meetings and training events for different audiences.
- Support the organization of other activities of the Education & Training department.
- Provide support to international projects that the department is involved in.
- Prepare timely reports and presentations as assigned.
- Maintain close contact with the team through regular meetings and teleconferences.
Requirements
- University degree.
- Excellent spoken and written language skills in English and Spanish.
- Strong skills in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation applications.
- Strong skills in data processing and analysis.
- 2-3 years of experience in training and event organization would be highly appreciated.
Conditions
- The position will be located at BSC within the Directors Department.

- Duration: Open-ended contract due to technical and scientific activities linked to the project and budget duration.
- Holidays: 23 paid vacation days plus 24th and 31st of December per our collective agreement.
- Salary: We offer a competitive salary commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate and according to the cost of living in Barcelona.
