Job Title: Sales and Therapy Specialist

Job Summary:

Abbott Laboratories is seeking a highly skilled Sales and Therapy Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business in assigned Division (SI/TAVI) and territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistics between the site and Abbott related to procedural support.
  • Identify and assist in the resolution of issues of procedures.
  • Maintain Registry data with the site.
  • Screen patients with echocardiologists, cardiologists, and/or other stakeholders to ensure that site personnel have the skills required to determine patient eligibility.
  • Call on referring physicians to present Portico and Amplatzer technology and all study data.
  • Organize outreach events for referring physicians, including dinner presentations and courses.
  • Help develop promotional materials for referring physicians to use in patient recruitment.
  • Identify opportunities and implement programs to streamline patient screening and procedures scheduling.

Requirements:

  • Strong clinical orientation.
  • Ability to influence a variety of clinician personality types.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues and adapt best practices across institutions.
  • Unsurpassed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and obtain results.
  • Creative.
  • Ability to work with 2D visualization to construct mental 3D device positions.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • BS/BA in life sciences or marketing.
