About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at The North Face. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for driving sales and profitability, motivating and mentoring sales associates, and assisting in the implementation of our retail processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales and Profitability: Work closely with the Store Manager to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Motivate and Mentor Sales Associates: Provide coaching and guidance to sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  • Assist in Implementing Retail Processes: Work with the Store Manager to implement and maintain our retail processes, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service standards.
  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic and lead by example, setting high standards for yourself and the sales team.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Ensure that every customer interaction is positive and memorable, providing a high level of customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Experience in Retail Management: Proven experience in a retail management role, with a strong track record of driving sales and profitability.
  • Leadership and Coaching Skills: Excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop sales associates.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales associates, and other stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in the use of MS Office and other retail software systems.
  • Flexibility and Availability: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as required.
