Accounts Payable Analyst 1

ThermoFisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Analyst 1 to join our team in Lagunilla, Costa Rica. As an AP Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and resolve AP accounts in medium complexity scenarios, ensuring timely and accurate payment to suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external partners, using accounting vocabulary and leading conference calls to resolve issues.
- Support the assignment of workload to team members, aligned with business objectives.
- Ensure corporate supplier information is up-to-date in our systems, consistent with categories and services provided.
- Conduct analysis, review, and reconciliation of GRIR accounts and pending accounts.
- Prepare reports to provide clarity on invoice status, metrics, and take required action.
- Provide support to suppliers in resolving complicated situations related to invoice processing and payment.
- Analyze invoice information to resolve discrepancies, identifying root causes to avoid misapplication of payments and customer concerns.
- Support auditing processes internally and externally, maintaining accurate operating procedures and controls.
- Maintain communication with internal and external clients through various channels.
- High School Technician or University Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Administration, and Finance, or equivalent.
- At least 4 years of experience in accounting/finance, with Shared Service Centers experience.
- B2+ English Level, fluent in English written and spoken.
- MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel intermediate.
- ERPs experience (Oracle, SAP, JDEdwards, Mainframe).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
