Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to lead our overnight Bakery operation and team of Pastry professionals. As a key member of our Ennismore team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality bakery goods and developing innovative product ranges in collaboration with our Executive Pastry Chef.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overnight Bakery operation and team of Pastry professionals to ensure smooth service preparation and high food hygiene standards.
  • Craft a range of bakery items with creativity and flair, adhering to the highest quality and standard.
  • Develop and innovate the product range in collaboration with the Executive Pastry Chef, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Proactively share knowledge and expertise with the team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources to deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Pastry, preferably in an upscale hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Track record in artisan bakery or luxury hotel environment, with a proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
  • Passion for Pastry and continuous learning, with a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Positive impact on people, team player, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
