Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our global cash application process. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for standardizing and automating processes to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient posting of customer receipts to clear open invoices.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Global Cash Application Process: Develop and implement strategies to standardize and automate cash application processes, ensuring seamless integration with our global team.
  2. Partner with Business Areas: Collaborate with other business units to ensure maximum efficiency in systems and processes.
  3. Drive Process Improvement: Utilize technology to continuously improve processes, ensuring more efficient and streamlined procedures.
  4. Implement Automation Tools: Identify, analyze, and implement automation tools (SAP search strings, RPA, etc.) to enhance cash application efficiency.
  5. Manage Customer Payment Remittance: Streamline and automate information transparency and clearing of A/R through effective management of customer payment remittance tools and processes.
  6. Clear Unapplied Cash Accounts: Manually record and clear miscellaneous payments, ensuring accurate and timely posting.
  7. Prepare Account Reconciliation: Prepare monthly account reconciliation of unapplied cash accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  8. Resolve Short-Pays: Identify short-pays by SAP reason codes and assist credit personnel in resolving discrepancies.
  9. Support Audits and Compliance: Support year-end external audits and SOX revenue cycle compliance audits and testing, ensuring seamless execution.
  10. Coordinate Monthly Close: Coordinate the monthly close of SAP Accounts Receivable and Sales - Distribution modules, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  11. Publish Blocked Billing and Billing Due List Logs: Publish timely and up-to-date blocked billing and billing due list logs to employees, ensuring transparency.
  12. Ensure Clean Financial Cut-Offs: Accountable for clean financial cut-offs with respect to sales, receivables, cost-of-sales, and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  13. Prepare Commercial Liabilities Report: Prepare and report commercial liabilities to the New York Federal Reserve Bank (Form CQ-2), ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or IT: Minimum of three years of related experience, with a strong background in accounting or IT.
  2. Working Knowledge of Accounts Receivable: Proven working knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, cash application, dispute management, and tools for digital transformation and automation.
  3. Demonstrated Ability to Work in a Diversified Environment: Demonstrated ability to work in a diversified environment with different functions, with a strong attention to detail.
  4. Fluent in English and Spanish: Fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) Experience: Meaningful experience using SAP Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM) or other ERP-related systems.
  2. Digital Transformation Tools Experience: Meaningful experience using digital transformation tools, such as Alteryx, Tableau, robotic process automation in the A/R and cash application space.
  3. Beverage Alcohol Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the beverage alcohol industry, with a strong understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
