Executive Sales Professional for Luxury Hotels

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sales Professional to join our team at SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort of extraordinary experiences. As the ultimate luxury destination in Barcelona's waterfront district, we offer unparalleled opportunities for growth and success.
About Us:
SLS Barcelona is a 5-star hotel that features a terrace off every guestroom, offering an array of exclusive amenities including rooftop dining and bars, three inviting swimming pools, a spacious 800 square-meter ballroom with abundant natural light, break out rooms catering to all size of meetings, a rejuvenating spa, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre.
Your Role:
- IDentify and qualify potential leads through research and following the hotel sales strategy and goals.
- Create and maintain customer relationships to achieve optimum market share.
- Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their group requirement.
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations to showcase our hotel's facilities, services, and offerings to prospective clients.
- Negotiate favorable terms and contracts with clients while ensuring alignment with hotel policies and revenue objectives.
- Work closely with the events, catering and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of group bookings and exceptional guest experiences.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to forecast sales revenue accurately.
- Manage the group sales budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI.
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Delphi and Opera, keep that nourished with the updated information of each booking as well as its status.
- Provide guidance and support to the sales team fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
At least two years of experience in hotel sales or equivalent industry experience, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.A bachelor's degree preferred.Valuable knowledge of sales skills, ability to understand customer requirements and translating these into sales solutions and revenue management.A track record meeting or exceeding sales goals and developing long term relationships and contacts.Experience managing luxury brands.The ability to be assertive and persuasive without being aggressive.What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
