Job Summary
Flywire is seeking a motivated and hardworking Payment Operations Associate to manage and streamline the payment process in our company. In this role, you will work to optimize fund movement and reconciliation across global accounts, to optimize current partner relationships and identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and match incoming payments against customer requests
- Reconciliation of accounting entries for our Global accounts
- Conduct daily follow-up with unsolved processing issues
- Support the Payment Operations, Payouts, and Customer Support Teams
- Understand process flow of payment partners and control settlements from our partners
- Payer KYC
- Leverage qualitative and quantitative feedback to inform decision-making
Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience in the Banking/Payments industry
- Fluency in English (required); other languages are a plus
- An appetite for continuous learning and completing working independently
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in a professional, office environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build processes and identify inefficiencies and potential risks
- Working knowledge of Excel, online tools (Google Apps, Salesforce, etc.)
