Senior 3D Character Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Character Artist to join our team in Barcelona. As a key member of our game development team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D characters and creatures for our upcoming PC/Console video game project.
Key Responsibilities:- Create high-quality 3D characters and creatures using 3D modeling software such as 3DSMAX, Maya, and Blender.
- Develop and implement texture and material authoring tools such as Photoshop and Substance.
- Work closely with the Lead 3D Character Artist to ensure the visual target is always exceeded and stylistically consistent.
- Collaborate with other disciplines such as Design, Concept Art, Animation, Tech Art, and VFX to ensure that characters are fully realized.
- Verify the quality of assets in the game, and make improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints, performance targets, and artistic direction.
- 6+ years of experience as a Character Artist.
- High-quality portfolio of gamedev-relevant 3D Character Art, preferably with an emphasis on stylization.
- Excellent understanding of game mechanics related to characters, objects, and environments.
- Experience integrating 3D assets into industry-leading game engines such as Unity or Unreal.
- High proficiency in modeling programs such as 3DSMAX, Maya, Blender, Zbrush, and texture/material authoring tools such as Photoshop and Substance.
