Senior 3D Character Artist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 3D Character Artist to join our team at Socialpoint. As a Senior 3D Artist, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D character art quickly and effectively.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement 3D character art concepts that meet the company's high standards.
- Collaborate with the Art Director to ensure consistency and accuracy in character design.
- Identify areas for improvement in the creative process and implement changes as needed.
- Provide accurate estimates for art requests and manage project timelines.
- Contribute to the development of the Art Director's vision and ensure its execution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and communicate them to the team.
- Participate in formal and informal critiques and provide constructive feedback to colleagues.
- Communicate project progress to the North American team.
- 5+ years of experience in the video game industry.
- Strong understanding of the 3D character pipeline, including high-poly modeling, low-poly modeling, UV unwrapping, texture baking, and substance painting.
- Excellent artistic fundamentals, including character design, color theory, lighting, shape, and form.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Battle Royale, Moba, or Shooter experience is a plus.
- A hybrid working from home/office system, with the option to work from home or in our Barcelona office.
