About the Role

Bitpanda GmbH is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Payments Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our fraud prevention and anti-money laundering efforts, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and Analyze Transactions: Utilize your expertise to investigate and analyze online transactions for potential fraud, scam, and money laundering patterns.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Provide input and feedback to enhance our systems and processes, ensuring they are effective in preventing suspicious behavior.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with internal teams to provide operational support and meet established service level agreements.
  • Develop and Maintain Reports: Create ad-hoc reports detailing the latest fraud groups and scenarios, utilizing various tools and systems.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in fraud prevention, particularly in the cryptocurrency and fintech industries.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Chainalysis and knowledge of SQL are highly desirable.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with varying work volumes and adapt to different shift patterns, including weekends.
