Job Description:

Managing Partners Group (MPG) is a multi-disciplined investment house that manages a range of collective investment schemes and regulated mutual funds investing in absolute return and other alternative asset classes.

The successful candidate will provide support to the business development team by producing high-quality leads and working as a team member towards agreed set targets and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities, produce leads, and book appointments for the sales team with a focus on high-quality leads.
  • Proactively follow up leads generated from canvassing by the business development team.
  • Use initiative to identify and follow up opportunities with companies not already on the database.
  • Manage the database to a high degree of accuracy to ensure targeted marketing activity can take place to generate new business.
  • Work closely with the sales team to achieve personal and team targets.
  • Liaise effectively with all departments within MPG to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Contribute to team performance by sharing and implementing best practice ideas.

Person Specification:

  • Computer literate/keyboard skills.
  • At least 1-2 years working within a sales environment, preferably in a proactive telemarketing role.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • High degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to understand technical product information.
  • Ability to learn and think effectively.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Achievement orientated.
  • Ability to use own initiative.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships (internal/external).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence people.
