About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at Reconocida empresa. As a key member of our IT infrastructure team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support for our desktop and laptop systems, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware, including printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
  • Provide expert-level support for enterprise LAN and WAN setups, including network configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with conference room A/V equipment setup and troubleshooting.
  • Configure and troubleshoot VOIP phones and other communication devices.
  • Support the installation and troubleshooting of operating systems, including Windows, MAC, and Linux.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest anti-spyware and anti-virus software and ensure our systems are protected.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP principles.
  • Collaborate with our mobile device management team to ensure seamless integration with our Airwatch, Xenmobile, and Mobile Iron systems.
  • Understand and troubleshoot data backups and VDI, SCCM, LanDesk, and Altiris systems.
  • Gain expertise in configuring and troubleshooting Apple machines and mobile devices.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure field support, with a strong background in hardware, software, and operating system troubleshooting.
  • Excellent desk-side support and PC break/fix skills, including basic administration of Windows O/S.
  • Experience with anti-spyware and anti-virus software is required.
  • Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware is essential.
  • Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable.
