Senior Finance Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our PLS Commercial Programs team at Expedia. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting key cross-functional programs that drive growth to the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Finance Manager in understanding and navigating key commercial programs and operational issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including Sales, Commercial Finance, Partner Finance, Accounting, Tax, and wider EG business project teams.
  • Translate complex financial data and issues into compelling, executive-level presentations that support informed business decision-making.
  • Provide financial modelling and analysis to support strategic business decisions and scenario planning.
  • Identify risks and opportunities within ongoing projects and present actionable insights to the Senior Manager for acceleration or mitigation.
  • Provide ad hoc finance support as and when required.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of prior experience within a finance function.
  • Finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong modelling skills with the ability to analyse raw data and convert into useful insights.
  • Ability to present data insights in a visually compelling format to finance and non-finance audiences.
  • Highly organized with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple workstreams across multiple time zones.
  • Collaborative and constructive work style with a range of partners to challenge the status quo, drive positive change, and process improvement.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the PLS Commercial Programs team. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand and navigate key commercial programs and operational issues. Your role will involve translating complex financial data into clear, executive-level presentations that inform business decisions.
