As an Equipment Flow Analyst at A.P. Moller - Maersk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of empty containers to and from various areas of Europe. Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the availability of Dry, Reefer, and Special containers to our customers in Europe and other parts of the world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Ocean Fulfillment leads, Feeder fulfillment, and Area Equipment & EMR teams to ensure relevant mainliner vessels are fully utilized on departure from Europe.
  • Design and implement "Standard Evacuation Plans" for Reefer containers aligned with Center requirements and seasonality in Europe and Latin America.
  • Optimize the distribution of Special equipment among Europe locations, ensuring efficient plans meet Center Equipment requirements.
  • Work closely with Market teams to meet current and future commercial requirements in all Europe areas.
  • Manage empty stock projections in hub ports through coordination with the Hub organization.
  • Support local Equipment & EMR teams in optimizing yard density and removing waste, promoting export performance.
  • Contribute to forecasting accuracy for all equipment types by collaborating with commercial and E&E colleagues.
  • Identify and address bottlenecks in the flow of empty containers with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives in collaboration with Finance Business Partners.
  • Support the development of relevant tech platforms with the Headquarter IT teams.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Customer-centric approach and proactive communication style.
  • Understanding of business cases and trade-offs.
  • Self-motivated and forward-thinking individual.
  • Basic understanding of Python/SQL is beneficial.
