Job Title: Multinational Insurance Program Coordinator

Job Summary:

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) seeks a skilled Multinational Insurance Program Coordinator to support its global underwriting teams. This role will be based in the Madrid office and will require the ability to work across multiple lines of business, global time zones, and with teams in other regions.

  1. Provide guidance and direction in the analysis and execution of multinational insurance programs.
  2. Liaise with customers, brokers, network partners, vendors, and other intracompany teams around the globe.
  3. Review underwriting submission materials to assist underwriters with the quoting and binding of local underliers.
  4. Use BHSI's WorldLink system to execute programs with other BHSI teammates and global partners.
  5. Correspond with global customers and brokers.
  6. Support the continued development of BHSI's multinational processes, tools, and systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years commercial insurance experience.
  • Multinational experience.
  • In-depth understanding of policy construction, insurance company operations, regulatory requirements, rating, and policy issuance.
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business, global time zones, with teams in other regions and with limited local supervision.
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Must be proactive and able to work within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Competency in MS Office applications.
  • Language skills: English, native or bilingual proficiency.
