About the Role

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) is seeking a highly skilled Multinational Programme Coordinator to join our team in Madrid. As a key member of our global underwriting team, you will play a critical role in supporting the execution of multinational insurance programmes across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute inbound and outbound multinational programmes using proprietary tools and systems.
  • Liaise with network partners in 175 countries to confirm local country support and related tax items.
  • Review underwriting submission materials to assist underwriters with quoting and binding local underliers.
  • Use BHSI's WorldLink system to execute programmes with global partners.
  • Liaise with various teams to address tax and regulatory compliance matters, reinsurance agreements, and data management needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years commercial insurance experience.
  • Multinational experience.
  • In-depth understanding of policy construction, insurance company operations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business, global time zones, and with limited local supervision.
