Job Title: Multinational Programme Coordinator

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multinational Programme Coordinator to join our team in Madrid, Spain.

About the Role:

The Multinational Programme Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the underwriting teams in the BHSI Europe region, providing guidance and direction in the analysis and execution of multinational insurance programmes. This position will require strong analytical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work across multiple lines of business, global time zones, and with teams in other regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute both inbound and outbound multinational programmes with the assistance of proprietary tools and systems.
  • Engage with and serve as the principal day-to-day liaison to network partners in 175 countries.
  • Review underwriting submission materials to assist underwriters with the quoting and binding of local underliers.
  • Liaise with various teams at BHSI, including Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Actuarial to address tax and regulatory compliance matters.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years commercial insurance experience.
  • Multinational experience.
  • In-depth understanding of policy construction, insurance company operations, regulatory requirements, rating, and policy issuance.
  • Ability to work across multiple lines of business, global time zones, with teams in other regions, and with limited local supervision.
